Positive Energy Electricity Supply LLC Makes Charitable Donation to United Way of Southington; Charity of the Month

Middlebury, CT. — May 10, 2010 —Positive Energy Electricity Supply, LLC of Middlebury recently showed its support to the United Way of Southington with a charitable donation to the Southington based organization. The organization had been chosen as one of the "Positive Impact" Charities of the Month. On hand for the presentation of the check, was United Way of Southington's Executive Director, Carol Reilly (right), and Positive Energy Electricity Supply LLC's Energy Services Manager, Jennifer Sartori (left), for the presentation of a $1,130 donation to the organization.

"The United Way is an organization that many of us are familiar with. They have helped make a difference for people, young and old, throughout the world," said Joseph Ventura, President of Positive Energy Electricity Supply, LLC "The United Way of Southington makes positive impacts on the lives of people right here in our community and the fact that we are able to help in any way with our donation is very important to us here at Positive Energy."

Carol Reilly commented, "The United Way of Southington is thankful for Positive Energy's generous donation. The money will help fund the most important programs at our 17 local agencies, our 2-1-1 Infoline which took in over 1,700 calls last year for all types of human services issues and our Emergency Fuel Bank. We are local people helping local people."

The United Way has been in existence for more than 100 years. Their mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. Their goals are to improve education, help people achieve financial stability and to promote healthy lives. The United Way of Southington was initially formed as the Southington Community Chest in 1926, becoming the United Way of Southington in 1975. They have helped the people of Southington and its surrounding communities by raising funds and providing assistance to organization's involved in human service programs.
